Twin Lakes PGA Professionals

Don Parsons , PGA
Director of Instruction

Being a great player doesn’t mean someone is a great teacher.  And a great teacher is not necessarily a great player.  As the 1988 California Amateur Champion and the 2003 Southern California PGA Teacher of the Year Don exhibits both abilities. For more than a decade, he has coached golfers of all levels to improve their games. Don has the ability to make complicated principles easy to understand – and more importantly – easy to apply.

Don is the Director of Instruction at Twin Lakes and over 15 years of teaching experience. He is recognized as a top instructor by his peers.

  • 2003 Southern California PGA Teacher of the Year.
  • 4-Time Northern Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year.
  • Golf Digest and Golf Magazine Top Teacher by region in 2006 and 2007.
  • Level 2 TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.

His simple style allows him to interact well with players of all levels. He has worked with players on the Nationwide Tour, top ranked collegiate players, nationally ranked juniors and amateurs, as well as club players of all ability levels. His commitment to the craft ensures that not only will you improve your game, but also enjoy the process.

Don utilizes the latest technology to help you learn the game including the K-Vest 3d motion analysis system, the V1 video analysis software, a launch monitor for ball flight analysis, and an extensive set of fitting clubs to make sure you have the right tools to get the job done.
